Incomplete absorption reactions at high energy

چکیده
The total reaction cross section of high-energy nucleus-nucleus collision refects the nuclear density profiles colliding nuclei and has been a standard tool to investigate size properties short-lived unstable nuclei. This basis relies on assumption that is strongly absorptive in sense an optical model. However, this property does not hold completely, while incomplete absorption occurs when overlap two low enough. In paper, we propose way quantify incompleteness, is, "blackness" section. A significance quantification drawn by taking example sections proton-rich C isotopes.

Study of the Primakoff Reactions at High Energy
In this talk the Coulomb production reactions at high energy are discussed as well as the study of electromagnetic properties of hadrons (mesons and hyperons) in these processes. The results of previous investigations are summed together with some recent data of SELEX(Fermilab) and SPHINX(IHEP) experiments.
متن کاملChemi-ionization reactions involving metastable helium atoms at high energy
Total chemi-ionization cross-sections have been measured over the 15 to 1 500 eV energy interval for collisions of He 2 1S and 2 3S metastable atoms with Ne, H2, N2, O2 and CO, using a slow ion measurement technique. With molecular targets these measurements have shown a strong energy dependence for the total ionization cross-section without dissociation. In the case of dissociative ionization ...
متن کاملIntestinal absorption at high altitude.
Three tests of small intestinal function were performed at 3100 m and 4846 m to seek evidence of malabsorption of high altitude. Xylose tolerance did not change in 11 subjects but, in three who ascended to 5600 m, one-hour xylose levels were significantly lower. The results of an oxalate loading test did not suggest significant fat malabsorption. A direct fat absorption test using chylomicron l...
متن کاملExtragalactic Absorption of High Energy Gamma-Rays
The pair-production absorption of high-energy -rays by intergalactic low-energy photons is expected to produce a high-energy cuto in the spectra of sources which is a sensitive function of redshift. We rst discuss the expected absorption coe cient as a function of energy and redshift derived by Stecker and De Jager by making use of a new empirically based calculation of the spectral energy dist...
